In June of 2013 I received a call from my sister, Jenn, I’ll never forget. She told me she had been diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. From that moment on our lives had changed. She immediately started Chemotherapy every two weeks. Too sick to work, I designed this Ganesha tee as part of a fundraiser, and more importantly to let her know that she was’t alone. Friends and family, who proved to be in the hundreds, were all thinking of her.

Ganesha is a Hindu Deity who people pray to when they are faced with life’s hardships. Ganesha is there to help you overcome whatever obstacles life may throw at you. Yoga plays a big role in Jenn’s life, and she has always had an affinity for Ganesha. So, when I decided to design a t-shirt, it wasn’t a difficult decision to embrace him.
